Like all NSW public schools, we promote the healthy development of students through:

Student wellbeing
Like all NSW public schools, we provide safe learning and teaching environments to encourage healthy, happy, successful and productive students.
The department is committed to creating quality learning opportunities for children and young people. These opportunities support wellbeing through positive and respectful relationships and fostering a sense of belonging to the school and community.
The Wellbeing Framework for Schools helps schools support the cognitive, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development of students and allows them to connect, succeed and thrive throughout their education.
Positive Behaviour for Learning
At our school, we use Positive Behaviour for Learning – a whole-school approach for creating a positive, safe and supportive school climate where students can learn and develop. Our whole school community works together to establish expected behaviours and teach them to all students.
School environmental management plan (SEMP)
Sustainability is a goal, "in which society meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs" (United Nations, 1987).
The Faulconbridge School environmental management plan (SEMP) embeds environmental education across all key learning areas of the curriculum. Our SEMP is inclusive of the whole school community and starts with local sustainability. We endeavour to provide students with opportunities to develop their understanding of how their lifestyle and choices contribute globally.
Students and staff at Faulconbridge Public School engage in ongoing management, observation and monitoring of resources, waste and physical surroundings, before collaboratively planning activities to minimise our ecological footprint and promote ongoing sustainability practices.
Our staff are committed to effectively preparing students for the 21st century through building students' capacity to live sustainably in the community.

Kitchen garden program
The main focus of the kitchen garden program is to deliver pleasurable food education to our students. Students will learn to grow, harvest, prepare and share delicious fresh food, working in a beautiful productive vegetable garden, herb garden and orchard and a student friendly kitchen and outdoor dining space.
The garden has become a whole school and community project and the meal preparation is done by students in Kindergarten to Year 6.
